Non-commercial sporting events not only need parti

Non-commercial sporting events not only need participants - they also need organisers. The members of @triabolos are therefore not only seen in their black racing suits with the white T at races, but also as volunteers behind the scenes at various events that the club organises in Hamburg every year. These include the 100x100 swim, of course the @elbetriathlon and finally the @skylinerun.hamburg . This photo of me was taken last week at one of the organisation meetings for the latter. Hope to see some of you at one of those events!

Very understandable that ancient civilizations tho

Very understandable that ancient civilizations thought that it was a bad omen when the sun suddenly vanished... but even when you know about the how and why it still is a special experience when it happens. Luckily we were near the path of the shadow and so we got a 80% coverage of the sun here in Nebraska.
